Step 1. Explore the Action Map

It’s as simple as a few clicks!

 

Our Action Map shows three categories of need across states and counties:

  • By State. Want to see what your neighbor states need help with? Easy! In the State filter, check all the states that you’re interested in. (Note, some data might not be available if it has not been provided by the state or county.)

  • By County. Want to see what your county needs? No problem. Just filter for your state / county and click through each of the buttons on the left.

  • By Resource Need. Want to see where you can make the most impact? You can sort the table on the right by Quantity Needed or % Unmet Need for a given category of need (election workers, facilities, supplies & equipment). 

2. Choose a state or county where you want to make an impact

There are several things you can do to help keep poll workers and voters safe.

 

For a given category in the Action Map, you can click on the county row you’re interested in. After reading through the notes, check out “Where do I start?” From here, there are a couple of ways you can give back:

  1. Become an Election Worker. Go directly to the linked state or county website to sign up.

  2. Donate Product. Can you contribute a large quantity of PPE, sneeze guards, nonperishable food, or other items? Work with BFA to scale your impact. Just fill out the Contact Us form and let us know what you’re able to give and where you’d like to contribute, and we’ll be in touch.

  3. Purchase Supplies & Equipment. HealthEquip for Vote Safe can be a resource for purchasing products to ship directly to election officials. See the “Instructions” section in our Action Map for details if this applies for your county’s needs. Or, visit the HealthEquip for Vote Safe page.
